The 2018 Ford Mustang GT will still have the engine roar that drivers love – but will also come with an industry-first Quiet Start system, also known as “Good Neighbor Mode.” While other sports cars do offer an on/off mode for their active exhaust system, the 2018 Ford Mustang GT is the first to allow drivers to schedule quieter times in advance. A few quick changes to the settings when the car is on allows drivers to set quiet hours – say between 8 p.m. and 8 a.m. That means when they head to work in the morning or leave for an evening out, sleepy neighbors, tired children, and anxious dogs won’t have the stress or annoyance of being startled by the sound of an engine.
