The Ford Ranger is making a triumphant return to the United States market in 2019 after being absent for the last eight years. What once was a very popular pickup truck offered by the automaker, the Ford Ranger is coming back better than ever. It has been completely redesigned inside and out. Today, we will take a look at the redesigned 2019 Ford Ranger.
A True Midsize Pickup
The 2019 Ford Ranger is a true midsize pickup truck. It is larger than the original Ford Ranger that graced the market eight years ago. It is also almost the same size as the Ford F-150 that was on the market in the decade of the 1990s.
The cab on the 2019 Ford Ranger is available in two options: the SuperCab, which is an extended style, and the SuperCrew, which has four full doors. The cab sits on one type of wheelbase, which presents two bed styles in different lengths.
The SuperCab has two jump seats that are upright, while the SuperCrew has seating for five in a comfortable setting. Both cab options come in three trim levels: the XL, XLT, and the Lariat. The second row of seats in the SuperCrew has storage under the seats that is waterproof.
The tech features in the 2019 Ford Ranger are not lacking in the least bit as Ford went all out with the design. The 2019 Ford Ranger features the following when it comes to technology:
- FordPass Connect WiFi 4G LTE for 10 devices
- Sync 3 multimedia system
- B&O Play
- Auto emergency braking
- Standard forward collision warning
- Blind spot warning system
- LED lighting
