Last month, the Northwest Automotive Press Association (NWAPA) held their annual Mudfest. The competition pits a variety of SUVs, crossovers, and pickup trucks against one another for two days of on- and off-road testing. The 28 journalists participating then have to determine the best in each of six categories and announce the winners. This year, despite tough competition in the segment, the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor was named the Best Pickup at Mudfest.

This remarkable Ford truck has already won an impressive number of awards and honors in its short time on the market, and the Mudfest victory is one more proof of how easy it is to fall in love with the all-new Ford F-150 Raptor. But given that the truck was built specifically for off-road excellence, it’s no wonder it stood out to the NWAPA journalists.

With an engine that produces 450 horsepower and 510 lb.-ft. of torque, a Terrain Management System with six modes to choose from, an aluminum alloy body that saves weight, and a chassis custom made for off-roading, the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor has it all. But the NWAPA journalists weren’t just judging off-road performance, and this powerful truck also packed a punch on the road. Tuan Huynh, the Mudfest event chair, explained that the “Ford F-150 Raptor won the hearts of our members for its prowess both on-road and off.”

We think your heart will also be won by this incredible Ford pickup. San Diego area drivers who want to enjoy their ride off the road as much as they enjoy driving on the road it need not look any further than Kearny Pearson Ford.
