Last month, the Ford company revealed the all-new 2018 Ford Mustang, coming to Ford dealerships this fall. The Ford Mustang is already the best-selling sports coupe in the world, and the all-new version promises to keep sales up by being the most advanced version yet of the popular sports car. From new technology to a sleeker design, from engine upgrades to a new transmission, the 2018 Ford Mustang takes everything drivers already love about the model and steps it up a notch.
Visual updates to the all-new Ford Mustang include an athletic, sleeker style, with elements like front and rear-end designs that not only look leaner, but are more functionally aerodynamic. Under that appealing new exterior will be one of two fantastic engine choices, a 2.3-liter EcoBost four cylinder engine that has proven time and again to offer performance advantages over its predecessor, or an immensely powerful 5.0-liter V8 engine that has been re-worked to be more powerful than any Ford Mustang engine before. Either of these choices can pair with a manual transmission or an available 10-speed automatic transmission, which helps give drivers more average power for acceleration, which improves performance all-around.
Inside the car, drivers will find a wide array of advanced technology, including an all-digital, 12-inch LCD screen in the dashboard, driver assist technology like Pre-Collision Assist and lane-departure warning, and of course, the always popular Ford SYNC infotainment system.
There’s a reason the Ford Mustang has remained popular for over 50 years, and the newest version stays true to the classic elements that made the model a hit while bringing in better performance, more advanced technology, and an exterior upgrade for the most exciting version yet. The 2018 Ford Mustang won’t be arriving at your San Diego Ford dealership until this fall, but you can visit us at Kearny Pearson Ford any time to see previous versions of the car or find out more about the all-new model on its way.
