After the successful launch of the all-new Ford F-150, Ford automakers have decided that another powerful truck was due for an upgrade. Coming this fall, the 2017 Ford F-Series Super Duty is an all-new iteration of the truck, and will be tougher, smarter, more capable, and more productive than its predecessors. One of the ways the 2017 Ford Super Duty will be a more productive truck, and allow you to be more productive in turn, is the massive fuel tank that has been added. When you get a 2017 Ford Super Duty with the Crew Cab configuration, you’ll get a whopping 48-gallon fuel tank.

Although the 2016 version of the Ford truck boasted an already impressive 37.5-gallon fuel tank, it’s easy to see how much further you can get with a fuel tank that is 22 percent bigger. This class-leading fuel tank size means fewer stops for gas and more time on the road. Plus, when combined with the increased fuel efficiency that is a result of using lighter-weight materials, it means you’ll not only have to open your wallet at the pump less often, but you’ll be paying less when you do. The final piece of the gas puzzle is the increased capacity of the diesel exhaust fluid tank for the Ford Super Duty equipped with Power Stroke. The improved fuel and water separator filters mean less time and money on maintenance, and with the larger gas tank, more time on the road.

Here at your local Ford dealership, we think our customers deserve the power and toughness promised by the 2017 Ford Super Duty, without having to feel like they’re spending more time at the gas station than on the road. The increased fuel capacity is just one of the many wonderful things you can expect from the newest version of this powerful Ford truck.
